I purchased the FSX MD-11 Aircraft this morning, installed it, but now when I select it, the game freezes then has a fatal error, I am running Windows Vista x64 with a Nvidia 9800GT graphics card, game ran fine until I installed this aircraft. Anyone have this happen to them too?

Please sign your full name to posts in this forum.You didn't provide any description of the problem, which makes it kinda hard to guess the solution. Although most have no problem, a few will if the installation failed or if the fsx dll.xml file has a problem and there is an occasional registry error too. All of these are fixable. Check out the PMDG Ops wiki-based pages too.

My name is Everett Marshall, I ordered the aircraft this morning at 8:30is a.m. EST. I installed the aircraft, when I opened FSX after installation complete, I chose the PMDG MD-11 and when I hit okay the game locks for about 20 seconds then FSX comes up with a Fatal Error and must close. I always run FSX as Administrator (Vista) and I have tried running it in Windows XP SP 2 mode, disable visual themes, but no matter how I set it up, when I try to even chose the MD-11 in the menu the game suffers a fatal error and closes. - The aircraft wont even make it to the small window where you view the 3D aircraft, the aircraft choice menu doesnt even have a chance to close.This is what the details says when I click it:Problem signature: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: fsx.exe Application Version: 10.0.61637.0 Application Timestamp: 46fadb14 Fault Module Name: PMDG_MD11_ACS.DLL Fault Module Version: 10.0.61355.62 Fault Module Timestamp: 49b67635 Exception Code: c0000005 Exception Offset: 0000a3a9 OS Version: 6.0.6001.2.1.0.768.3 Locale ID: 1033Additional information about the problem: LCID: 1033

It wont even go to that point, I hit okay and it crashes.
