December 2, 200916 yr Hi All.Note:I choose this forum because Wilco/Feelther is not present here and their forum is not very active.I recently purchased the Airbuses Ser 1 and 2 from Wilco/Feelthere. I soon found out that their FMC database 'ND.MDB' is quit limited. For exemple there is no stars or sids for any airport in Canada.Contrary to PMDG, whose database is in text format, feelthere uses the Microsoft Database format MDB.They do provide a utility called FTND.exe wich is DOS base, but they do not provide any instructions or tutorial or support. I finaly managed to get a utility called XES that provides us with a Window Interface and interact with FTND to modify the ND.MDB file. By the way Navgraph does not support the Wilco/Feelthere Airbuses series.According to XEX documentation we can exchange files with other users that have created procedures for other airport. I intend to create all the existing procedures for all Canadian airports. I am looking here for other guys or gals that would be interested in collaborating with this project not only for Canada but for any country.Thank for your time.Bat

Feelther is not present here really ... :( and their forum is not very active.really ... http://forum.iemit.com (the support forum) is a busy place. the old forum, http://iemit.com/forum has limited use as it is no longer the prime support location. the 'old forum' remains available so folks can search the years of discussion/data.By the way Navgraph does not support the Wilco/Feelthere Airbuses series.the feelThere (FT) common database (FCD) is used by the following FT aircraft:737classics, A32X (airbus v1), A330 & A340 (airbus v2), ERJ version 1, ERJ version 2, Legacy, ejets, 777 and CX.the AIRAC sold by navigraph is in 'FCD' format.-- D. December 2, 200916 yr Would you please tell me who maintain your Database for the Airbuses Series. Last version is almost 4 years old...???at one time the source data for AIRACs was available in the public domain. that is no longer the case. when AIRAC database access became 'payware', around cycle 0610, feelThere made the decision not to provide updates as the cost is prohibitive ... and navigraph provides the service for a fair fee.- D. December 3, 200916 yr Is it permissible to modify and re-distribute the Wilco ... [AIRAC] files in this way?no problem ONLY when the following conditions are followed -the original source 'code' is recognized as being the property of feelThere (ie, include a text file in the 'AIRAC package' with copyright and authorship information) a statement, in a text file included in the 'AIRAC package', stating that feelThere and/or Wilco are not obliged to support the modifed AIRAC; and all support questions concerning the AIRAC's function are to be directed to the 'AIRAC package' authors. ONLY the data file is shared, no other portion of any feelThere developed aircraft can be included (ie, a gauge) the AIRAC is provided only as freeware, at no cost to the public. 'no cost' includes a person/company/entitiy cannot change for distribution for one to collect the AIRAC (ie, download cost, CD/DVD cost, or shipping cost, etc). yes, this essentially limits distribution through one of the flightsim commuinty free file libraries (ex, avsim.com). -- D.
