Cannot load .FLT file in RC

Featured Replies

I saved my flight last night and it created all the files in the C:\Users\Joe\Documents\Flight Simulator X Files directory which is where I have RC configured to point to for both FLT and WX files, etc.The problem is not saving the flight and having the files show up, they are all there. The issue is when I load up FSX and load the flight in FSX first, then start up RC and click Load previously saved RCD, it takes a while to load. Then my FSX reloads by itself to the flight plan, but then I get an error saying "Cannot load <my save name>.FLT"Now apparently both FSX and RC still function, but I'm not sure what this .FLT file is and why its giving me an error.Any ideas on what the problem might be?Thanks in advance!

start fsx, click fly now, nothing elsestart rc, load previous rcd, click on the .rcd, and click start rc. let rc start the flight in fsx

Make sure your files are being saved in the ".FLT/.WX Path = C:\Users\Owner\Documents\Flight Simulator X Files". The files that are not save in this folder move them there..I just did it and it worked.Batting%20Eyelashes.gif

if you find the .rcd files in a directory where there are no .flt and .wx files, then your .flt/.wx path needs to be updated in rc, to match the path where you are finding the .flt and .wx files.jd
