December 6, 200916 yr Here's one for you guru's.I can't seem to pick up the Honiley VOR on 113.65. It is situated a few miles south of EGBB in the UK. When I'm in the vicinity of Birmingham and tune this VOR I receive an identifier of MTD, some 147 miles away.I have the following add-ons: Radar Contact 4.3, GEX Europe, UTX Europe, SceneryTech Europe. Could any of these cause the loss of the VOR? Doubtful it's GEX, as that is a texture replacement.I have run the latest MakerRunways when I installed RC4, maybe this is a cause? The VOR appears in the default GPS and on the FSX map, so I'm at a loss why the frequency is out os action.I run Win7 64, FSX SP2. December 6, 200916 yr In my experience, not all VOR's are active in either FS-9 or FSX even though they appear on maps and GPS displays. Did you at one time have an active VOR at that location, or is this the first time you have tried to tune that specific VOR? Is there another VOR located somewhere in the world with the same frequency? Try that one and see what happens. If all other VOR frequencies seem to be working properly then you probably don't have a problem. Dan George (woodhick)Check out Greenbrier Aero Club, the VA for and about the GA pilot.
