December 7, 200916 yr For FS9, I used this tool "asynchronous_strobes_effects" to unsync strobes on the AI planes. Flying into KDEN last night I really recalled why!My search for a similar utility for FSX has come up dry. Anybody have a suggestion or fix? Thanks, Scott Scott Robinson
December 7, 200916 yr the strobe lights are the fx_strobe.fx file (in FSX\Effects)my "randomized" FS9 file has these changes:-Emitter.0- sectionDelay=0.10, 0.90 ;vs Delay=0.00, 0.00 (fsx default).Rate=2.50, 4.50 ;vs Rate=0.50, 0.50 (fsx default)-Emitter.1- sectionDelay=0.10, 0.90 ;vs Delay=0.00, 0.00 (fsx default).Rate=3.50, 6.00 ;vs Rate=0.50, 0.50 (fsx default)the fsx strobe effect has an additional Emitter.2 section that probably needs to be bumped up to slow and randomize the effect also...Make sure you save an original copy before messin' with it...Delay=0.20, 0.20 (fsx default).Rate=0.50, 0.50 (fsx default)HTHLoyd Hooked since FS4... now flying: FSX Acceleration on Win7/64, Core Duo E8400; GA-EP45-DS3R; GTX 460-768MB; 4G RAM; Freezer 7 Pro
