Memory dump during gameplay

Hey everyone,I'm new here but not that new to MS Flight Sim, having had the various versions since FS95.I've had FSX for around 6 months now and it was running fine, a tad jerky in places due to my computer specs but I got by and enjoyed the game. I got a bit fed up with it after a while which is why I decided to upgrade, especially as my wife bought me Super 80 Pro for my birthday yesterday. I'm also looking at buying the PMDG MD-11 in the near future as well. Below are my new specs:AMD Phenom II X4 955 : 3.2GHz4Gb DDR3 1333MhzAsus M4A77TD Pro Mobo550W PSUI already had an NVidia 9800GT 1Gb graphics card installed so this element didn't need upgrading.I formatted my hard drive and performed a clean install of Windows XP (32 bit), downloading all the relevant updates and service packs before installing FSX. The installation went smoothly and so did the initial 2 minutes of flight in the CRJ-700. Then it froze and the dreaded Blue Screen of Death appeared with the following error codes.DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUALSTOP: 0X000000D1 (0XAEFBF000, 0X00000002, 0X00000000, 0XB0F170D8)<snip the usual text>viahduaa.sys-address B0F170D8 base at B0EEF000, datestamp 4a24e854.It then goes on and says its about to dump the memory, that it has completed and that I should reboot the computer. There was no countdown to restart which have been synonymous with BsoD's I've had in the past. This one just stayed there so I just shut the PC off and went to bed, after jotting down the error codes. These codes don't really mean much to me but I'm assuming it has something to do with a driver? Is anyone able to help me out here or at least point me in the right direction to getting this fixed? It's quite frustrating as you can imagine, especially as I've had Super 80 Pro sat on my desk for 2 days now unable to use it. I guess I could use it but would rather sort out any problems before adding further software.Sorry for the long winded first post, I hope you manage to get to the end without drifting off to sleep. :( Thanks in advance.Adam

Adamthis seems tobe a combination of issues between the ASUS mobo and the VIA sound driver. This is useful for a start: http://vip.asus.com/forum/view.aspx?board_...SLanguage=en-us. and http://www.viaarena.com/Search.aspx?cx=014...p;sa=Search#840 and http://www.viaarena.com/forums/showthread.php?t=39205 and http://www.viaarena.com/forums/showthread....9205&page=5. ASUS have probably got a fix, see last site.RegardspH

Peter,Many thanks for the links; I found a few of those yesterday whilst doing a bit of research into the error codes. When I got home yesterday evening, I uninstalled the drivers and downloaded the most recent ones from the ASUS website and installed those. When I loaded a flight on FSX, everything had worked itself out and even got my Super 80 Pro software installed.I just need to tweak things now to get the most out of my hardware.Again, many thanks for your reply Peter. Adam.
