December 11, 200916 yr After a few teething problems with trying to get FSX to work after upgrading my hardware and performing a fresh install of XP, I'm still experiencing the odd problem, mostly relating to scenery. The day before yesterday I was doing the tutorial flight on Super 80 Pro which starts off at Glasgow (EGPF). The scenery looked rather poor in terms of quality and thought the airport looked rather sparse but seeing as I was more interested in getting the bird to fly, I shrugged it off and started the flight. Yesterday I started off from Manchester (EGCC) and whilst the scenery had improved there was something missing. The terminal buildings! I tested a few other airports and they too were missing the airport buildings.I checked my settings and they appeared to be all 'normal', whatever normal is in FSX. Can anyone shed light on this? Thanks in advance. Adam Adam Smith
December 11, 200916 yr Hello Adam. If you set Scenery Complexity too low, then terminals may not display. Try placing this slider at Normal or above.Best regards.Luis Hot, humid Caribbean paradise!
December 11, 200916 yr Author Hi Luis,Thanks for the suggestion - I'll give it a try later on when I get home. I did play around with the scenery settings quite a bit so may have adjusted the complexity too low.Regards, Adam. Adam Smith
December 11, 200916 yr Yeah, a specific UK2000 issue was that scenery complexity has to be max or one setting under max, otherwise things would be missing. I remember jetways would not display if anything below max.
