December 13, 200916 yr I am wondering if any else has tied this yet. I am running FSInn remotely and tried the squawk ident. It doesn't show on FSInn that it received the message from the J41 transponder to squawk ident. I am just wondering if I am dealing with an FSInn problem or a J41 problem. Thanks!
December 13, 200916 yr I have found over the years that the links between add-on aircraft's transponders and online pilot clients are often unreliable. On one person's machine they work but on another machine they don't or one addon works and another doesn't. In order to avoid the unreliability I always use the FSInn control panel for squawking Charlie/Standby/Ident and never have any problems. It's a bit of a workaround for what is a very minor issue but it does work, 100% of the time. Bill Casey
December 13, 200916 yr Same here. I set the airplane's transponder to TA/RA at the gate, then use FSInn to switch to mode C when taking the runway. In case you didn't know, you squawk ident from FSInn by doubleclicking the "C". December 21, 200916 yr Very much the same with IVAO's IvAp.Setting Squawk TA in the JS41 doesn't interact with the Interface at all.The easiest way is to use FSUIPC to map a mouse click to a spare joystick button.Unless you know from FsInn what the command is? Ctrl + F11?Remember TILT enter/exit RunwayT = Transponder/ TCAS..............on /offI = Ice (anti/deice/pitot tube)......as requiredL = Lights (landing/taxi)..............on / offT = Talk (ATC/traffic advisory)....as requiredSeasons GreetingsKev Townsend
