How to get rid of Frame Rate Counter

Featured Replies

Hi,Have me a problem. Just installed Zinertek's Ultimate Water Advanced and now have a red frame rate counter in the top right hand corner of my screen. Anyone know how to remove this (aside from the obvious ... uninstall UWA)?TIA

Hello,Never heared of this one ! (And I used the advanced version but returned to the normal version .. better for my taste)Maybe they know ....http://www.zinertek.com/contactus.htmlRegards.santa2.gifGus.

Shift Z, once, or several times to scroll through all the different counters....KeesZ

Howdy,Was possibly unfair to Zinertek; have unistalled UWA and the flippin' counter is still there.KeesZ: No, this is not the default information brought up by Shift+Z. This is two digits in the top far right hand of the screen which shows current framerates (in both yellow and red). It's quite perplexing considering as how it was not there the last time I flew FS (Wednesday) and yet it's there today.EDIT:Discovered the "guilty"party ... ATI Tray Tools!!! Had activated OnScreen Display which shows FPS. All fixed now. Many thanks for the helpful suggestions, folks.

That sounds like the FRAPS frame rate counter. Hit F12 and see if that get's rid of it.
