Before I even tried planning a flight myself I tried to fly the tutorial as often as I could (One of the reasons I bought the MD-11, there was a great tutorial available. )Yeh it got boring in the end but I now know how to fly this plane like I should. A lot of your questions will just be clarified when you do that. Try fouling round with the FMC while flying the tut. Has helped me a lot and prevented me from getting lost on some kind of approach online :(Tiemen.

Probably a good idea. I find the main tutorial kind of to simple now, maybe I could try the advanced ones from the PMDG website
