December 26, 200916 yr Recently purchased this product, fairly in depth sim anyway thats for sure.1 thing which is onto the question / topic ...Is there anyway like you can with default/freeware and other payware aircraft create a flight plan in microsoft flight sim itself and toggle the NAV1/GPS switch so you can fly the GPS planned route?Regards,Martin.
December 26, 200916 yr You mean can you use a .pln file? Yes, it's not documented and I've never tried it but read Ernie's explanation in this thread: http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showtopic=268693If you mean create a flight plan then immediately use it? No, the default GPS and the PMDG FMS systems are separate (although the JS41 uses the gps guage sort of) and more to the point the navigation data in any MSFS product is very obsolete. You won't find any sids or stars, and many runways either missing or without current numbering. In the JS41, most flight plans are not very long since the average flight is probably less than two hours.By the way, please sign your full name in this forum.
