Are they set within the sim or from outside via CCC or some other tool? You may also need to pause the sim to allow the refreshed textures to `catch up`. Try 30 seconds and if things don't slowly `pop` back into sharp relief reply to the points above.

I do set AA/AF within the sim and my graphics card...I tried MipBias but the value of 6 makes the ground too sharp... What value do you recommend?
December 30, 200916 yr If 6 is too sharp, then try 4 or 5. Depends on your hardware and what addons you are running. I've found 6 is great for photoscenery but lower for the stock fsx textures.IAN Ryzen 5800X3D, Nvidia RTX5080 - 32 Gig DDR4 RAM, 1TB & 2 TB NVME drives - Windows 11 64 bit MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition Resolution 2560 x 1440 (32 inch curved monitor)
December 30, 200916 yr Hi,Assuming that your not flying too fast over the ground causing 'the blurries' :( , which is a problem where the textures take time to load, then there aretwo settings you need to consider: Anisotropic filtering and 'LOD_radius'.-Set the anisotropic filtering to its maximum setting in your video driver options, this will probably be 16x.-Open your fsx.cfg file and manually edit the LOD_radius=, to a value of 6 or higher. The level of detail radius can be changed in the fsx menus, but the maximum there is 4.5 miles or 'large'. Changing this to 6 or above manually will make a world of difference. However, if you access the fsx display options again in the game, your manual settings will be reset. So after you have changed this manually, try not to access the fsx display menuin game.Changing these two things will have a performance penalty so just give it a try and decide for yourself. :( David.
