Saitek Pro Switch Panel - FS9 engines dont kick on...

Featured Replies

I just recently got the Saitek Pro Switch Panel (PZ55)... The problem I am having is the engine start knob... it will spool up the engines, but they just continue to spool... and never kick on (I only fly commercial jets). I have read through several forum threads on various websites...and found a few other people with the same problem, but no solutions were posted.Does anyone know of a solution to this?I have updated the Saitek drivers. My OS is XP.Thanks,ED

Does it happen in all aircraft? Have aircraft.cfg been altered?

So far, yes... problem exists with all aircraft, although all my aircraft are free addons or have been customized. Is there a parameter in the aircraft.cfg file that I need to adjust? Thanks for your reply,ED

If this were to happen without using the switch panel, I'd say make sure the fuel is on. While they are cranking, do a CTRL-SHIFT-4 just to make sure fuel is on. KJ

That seemed to have corrected the problem. The Fuel Pump switch on the panel does not work for many of my aircraft when I figured they were on... I have assigned rich mixture to a button on the yoke. Thanks for your help, KJ!!ED
