Default aircraft.

I am just starting out in XP 9. I note that I can press Ctrl-O and get a 3D panel that I can pan around in the C172, however when flying the B747 when pressing Ctrl-O I get a partial panel that I can pan around- it's almost like the 2D panel but made smaller and only occupying a portion of the screen. Is this correct? Thanks, Bruce.

A lot (most) of the older default planes have only 2D panels and that panel is presented in the 3D cockpit like you see in the 747.There are a lot of free aircraft available for download that have 3D panels. Try x-plane.org to start with. http://x-plane.org/Many commercial products are available with 3D cockpits, have a look over at X-Pilot for some good ones.http://forums.x-pilot.com/index.php

Hi Matthew,Thanks for the reply, I was mainly concerned that I had some sort of rendering issue going on with my Mac. I will take a look at the downloads, this is very helpful. Thanks, Bruce.
