ASX Temperature Issue?

On the last several flights I've done, I have noticed that the OAT has always been off by a significant amount. Like right now I am at 8000 feet over northern oregon and my aircraft indicates the OAT is 67 degrees Fahrenheit. There is no way that it is that warm at 8000 feet in Oregon in the Winter. The ASX interface confirms this error and says it should be around 40-45 F. What is causing such a huge difference? Every flight it is off by at least 10-20 degrees Fahrenheit.This has been happening everywhere, not just in Oregon. I was up in Canada with the A2A Cub and I was also getting very incorrect readings.I tested my simconnect to make sure it is working properly, and it is.

So it happens in both ASX and ASA then? Hmmmmm...Well hopefully there will be a patch coming in the next couple months.Active sky is still the best weather engine out there! :(

Oops! Sorry, I misread your original post. I guess the issue in question could have been carried from one codebase to the next. I'm assuming that Damien doesn't start from scratch as he moves through the product line.Maybe this will kill two birds with one stone!

Hi William,When this happens again, see if the nearest station has interpolated data and look and see if any of the cloud layers have a negative altitude.
