Need expert to explain MD11's Takeoff stages

Basically I can takeoff quite simply however Im never really sure why the thrust does what it does. So does it maintain V2 until "Climb Thrust" roughly @1500ft. And does it then go to ACCEL thrust above 3000ft.This is assuming no waypoint restrictions and the CLB & ACCEL altitudes haven't been altered. Is this spot on or are there other factors that make the FMS go thats a good speed. Also does it wait for you to retract flaps in any way or is it a catch up game with the pilot having to retract as the speed increases. So in the DEP page on the FMC theres V1 VR V2 VFR V3/VSR VCL. Now correct me if I'm wrong but upon passing CLB THRUST will the FMS try and maintain VCL. And finally what speed does ACCEL try to maintain. Taking into consideration 250 below 10000ft. Thankyou to anyone who can take this on :(

I notice you were asked a couple of times in the general section to sign your full name. That will help you find advice and support here.
