January 19, 201016 yr First of all, the scenery I'm talking about:http://www.shop.aerosoft.com/eshop.php?act...zahl_treffer=34Made by Aerosoft a long time ago (in a galaxy far, far away...), it includes 9 scandinavian airports, of which most don't have good freeware counterparts. It's mainly Copenhagen Kastrup that I'm talking about, which does have a freeware counterparts, but to me it looks like a 2002 scenery (which it probably is). So, I've been looking at this package. It's old, it includes 9 airports, and it's 20 euros. There are no good, recent reviews either to help me out, but what I can see is that the buildings really don't look bad at all, but the ground textures are very 2002-like. Meaning they are enormous and hardly detailed, for as far as I can see. Oh, and there is no AES support, and there will never be, Oliver (the developer of AES) stated. My question is: is it worth buying? January 19, 201016 yr Author That's sad... Anyway, it will apparently not work in FSX. While I use FS9 now, in the end I'll probably move to FSX, and it'd be nice if the bought sceneries will work in FSX. Anyway, with Swedflight out of business, it clearly is not an alternative. Is there anything better than the Aerosoft scenery I linked too? If not, I will probably have to get it...EDIT: Just found there actually is a patch available to get EKHC to work in FSX. So, if it will ever be released as freeware, it could make its way to FSX... January 19, 201016 yr SCA1 has installer scenery dates of 2002 - 2004 scenery objects. I have been OK with it.The Aerosoft US outlet no longer lists it.
