January 21, 201016 yr All,Probably a stupid question, but anyway here we go!When i start up my flightsim the aircraft is electronically fully powered. I've made some switches to cut the power but i only see the switch rocking forward and back and the power isn't cut! I've tried the file Cold Start but doesn't work either, tried to change the aircraft.cfg file according this forum also with no success.Help!Slammer
January 24, 201016 yr Have a look at the aircraft.cfgMaybe there you'll findelectric_always_available = 1If so, change it toelectric_always_available = 0That should help...Herbert
January 25, 201016 yr Author Herbert,I've looked into the aircraft.cfg. There was no such statement as electric_always_available = 0 or 1 so i put it in the electrical part with no succes! I don't know if you are familiar with the LAGO-F16, because thats the one i'm referring to. Could it be that it is part of the .mdl file which cannot be changed as far as i know?Regards Ed
January 30, 201016 yr ED,may be the last parameter in this section of the aircraft.cfg:[GeneralEngineData]engine_type=1Engine.0=0.000000,0.000000,0.000000Engine.1=0.000000,0.000000,0.000000fuel_flow_scalar=1.000min_throttle_limit=-0.25 The min_throttle_limit should never be >0 ( normally ).-0.25 is in my F18.Dietmar

And you are sure that you've the right reality settings in use?How do default aircrafts behave? Which FS version? I think we'll need some more information to find a solution...Regards,Herbert
February 1, 201016 yr Author Herbert,I found the problem! The F-16 has a .gau file for the leftfrontpanel and covers several switches. With this gauge it is possible to switch Electrical Power (SHIFT + M). I know it is a very odd solution but I minimized this gauge and put it somewhere in the panel, added a switch to control SHIFT +M and it works. Strange things do happen! FS keeps on surprising me!Anyway thanks for trying to help me out!Regards Ed
February 4, 201016 yr Author All,I found out that the leftfrontpanel.gau also resided in the VC, once removed all works fine. I forgot about this: Indeed stupid! Hope that i've helped others with the same problem.Regards Ed, once again thanks for all the solutions
