Default Airfield/Airport

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if it is possible to change the default airfield/airport in MS FSX from the present to one of our own choice? If yes, how do we do it?

What do you mean "the default airport"? Do you really mean change the location of the default opening flight and have some other aircraft and location first appear instead of the hang glider (yes I know it's powered) in the air near Seattle?

Just setup a flight the way you want it (airport and aircraft etc.) and the "save" it - being sure to place a check mark in the "make this the default flight box" on the save dialogue.

When I load up MS FSX and choose Free Flight I would like to have Hong Kong SAR show up as my preferred airfield rather than have to search for it. It is irrelevant to me what aircraft first shows up

Thank you David. That worked a treat
