The GTX 260M is much faster than the 230M. They're not even in the same performance category. The 260M has more than twice the bandwidth, more than twice the pixel fillrate, andnearly 4x the texturing capability of the 230M. If your intention with this purchase is to buy a laptop which will run FS9 maxed-out with add-ons, I would definitely suggest going the GTX 260M route.
