January 30, 201016 yr So I have looked up actual flight plans using flightaware.com. My question is how to I find the navigation points in the default FS flight planner? There is no search option, and I don't know what the long/lat of the points are to visually look... Any advice?btw, I downloaded super flight planner and I can't get the database to upload. It goes thru and scans and writes everything, but then at the end it just says "done" and there is nothing that shows up... _____________________________________________ Mark Bott

If you select 'IFR' then high (jst) or low (Victor) the default planner will insert the intermediat fixes for you. You will see them on the map as well as in the default GPS.

I like fsbuild as you can just write the airway like in a flight plan and it will populate with the intermediate waypoints. On sfp, I take it you used the sfpdbwiz to create your database. Then you need to run the main sfp app and do a "file -> open" and naivgate to where you saved off the sfp4 database. You might also have a look at Plan-G, sort of the same idea but doesn't show any of the V/J routes or airport layout like sfp does.scott s..
