Why would you come to AVSIM.COM to find out about the status of a site that stole our name? Yeah... AVSIM.RU is a rip off of our site and we have no affiliations with them - None - Nada -Zip. Thieves... Nothing but thieves. Frequent that site, and you are condoning thievery. It is as simple as that. You have a misunderstanding of Tom.......either that or I do, but I think it's you. Contrary to what some might suggest, Tom makes no attempt to silence civil conversation in these forums, even when the topic is controversial. For that matter, neither do any of the moderators. If Tom wanted the thread closed, he would have closed it without the need for any of your requests. I could have closed it, Geof could have closed it, David could have closed it, but we haven't because there's no reason to. If you simply stop coming in to this thread and posting, it will die a slow death working its way to the bottom of the forum, off to page two, and eventually into the dark abyss with other dated topics only seen by those of us with nothing better to do at 2:00 in the morning than scan year old posts - a frequent hobby of mine. The best way to make this one go away is to stop asking for it to go away.
