I find 20fps in FSX extremely fluid. I also find sceneries will slow me down more that this aircraft does.Anyway, are you enjoying the JS41? Once I learned how to move my viewpoint around with the mouse I decided never to go back to 2D. Now in the 747 I find the overhead panel too close to my face and I haven't played with it to get the view I like but I'm sure there's a method that will work.Just my opinions here.

20FPS eh? Thats good, thats what I get on a GOOD day with a bottlenecked system, a bad day is 3FPS :( I like the 2D panel, manily for the A/P even a MCP like what CS did with their 767 would be excellent.
