I don't "do" helos, so I'm seeking some advice on how to make this more realistic... There is 322.8' from the helipad to the tower. Is this a good position for the pad and apron?Here's an overhead view from in the sim:

Interesting and unique problem, Bill. There is an AC on airport planning (in fact, there are a number of them), that might contain indications on this. I have never read them because I always work on existing facilities.Best regards.Luis

33MO - Leaming Field is a real private field owned by a distant cousin of mine. I've (virtually) bought his property in the FSX World, and am in the process of developing it into my own vision. Being a (virtual) trillionaire, I can easily afford whatever is needed, but do wish to keep my additions within the realm of reality as much as possible... :( As a contrast for example, my "mansion" is actually quite modest, being merely a five-bedroom ranch style house. Most of my (virtual) money is being poured into the still-private airfield and infrastructure. I've also opened up the field to members of the "Eaglesnest Flying Club" as well as building a combination FBO/Lounge/Flying Club facility.Since some of the members are helo pilots, I needed to add facilities to accomodate them as well.

Hmm, it sounds pretty good. If you put a pool table in there, you might even get me to show up, though you'll have a hard time getting rid of me. You have been warned.Best regards.Luis

Hmmm, there may be some room on the covered patio area for a pool table:The fans are animated of course, and the lights work! BTW, I do intend to release this for everyone as freeware, once I've found a stopping point! :(
