February 23, 201016 yr Whenever I start FSX I get a message -"Scenery.cfg file error Invalid Remote scenery path in Scenery Area.128"FSX is running fine, can anyone tell me how to remove this message.HelloOpen your Scenery.cfg file and see what is at position 128The scenery directory is either missing or the path to it in Scenery.cfg is pointing to the wrong location
February 24, 201016 yr Author Thank you mad dog, the entry is indeed missingCan you or any other reader give me the missing entry detail so I can add it back in.
February 24, 201016 yr Hi,128 isn't a default scenery. It was a scenery which has been added (by you or an installer) but now the scenery is missing but the entry in the scenery.cfg is still there. You can try to delete the complete entry for the scenery and the tool FSTscenery.exe (see Google) should repair your scenery.cfg (numeration).
February 24, 201016 yr Author Thanks for advice, problem now solved. Some add-on scenery was not correctly installed. I removed it and then re-installed, now everything is fine.
