July 31, 200322 yr Hey, I'll take the DC-3 over the Wright Flyer anyday. As far as performance goes, 600MHz is very low, but doable.First of all. Don't use 3d Clouds. I know the temptation is there but for a lowly Celeron, you are just really limiting yourself. If you keep the 2D clouds and limit your self to "reasonable" traffic (50% or less in most areas, 25% or less in "heavy" areas), then you have lots of room for Scenery density and Autogen.I flew into Bremerton with storms on the horizon, running the approaching storms weather theme, with Autogen and Scenery Complexity shoved all the way up and Mesh at at least 50 percent and was still pushing 10+ on landing. For some of you, that doesn't count for much but for me 10+ on landing is good. But it's worth getting even with a 600. Soon you will find a range of settings you use for various flights and one that will fit the bill most of the time.
