March 1, 201016 yr Hello everybody,I have a question about the fs9.cfg.In one of the threads here at avsim forums, I read that there is a way to prevent FS-9 making changes to some parts of the cfg file.As I remember it correctly, it's something to do with adding a command under the titles in [] but I cannot find he thread anymore. It was burried inside as an answer to the main toppic but I can't remember which one.Can anyone help me out here?Luc BrusselmansBelgium
March 1, 201016 yr Are you thinking of the addition of "//" before a line in the .cfg file (without the quote marks, of course)? MSFS disregards any line with those characters before it. March 1, 201016 yr Hello,This can maybe help !http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showtopic=198626Extract: As an addition:If you add the line:LOCKED=1to each Joystick_** section, this will prevent FS9 to mess up your controller settings.Which, unfortunately, FS does sometimes under peculiar circumstances.Downside is, that you cannot change an assignment from the FS9 menu yourself as well, but usually there's no need for that when you have configured your controllers properly. And IF you want that, just (temporarily) remove the lock.Regards.Gus.
