March 3, 201016 yr Could someone tell me if I'm going to use FSUIPC to configure hardware controls in FSX, do I disable the associated components in FSX. For example, if I configure my GoFlight throttle body in FSUIPC, should I disable this hardware via the FSX "Controls" menu?Thanksfb

You can totally disable your controls in FSX (Settings) and use ONLY FSUIPC4 to assign and calibrate any axis or button switch , etc.2). You can assign axes in both FSX and FSUIPC4 (there must not be any duplicate assignments in FSX and FSUIPC) and you can calibrate ALL of these axes in FSUIPC. For example, if you assign the rudder in FSX you must not assign the rudder in FSUIPC4 but you can still calibrate the rudder in FSUIPC4 (under Joystick calibration).RegardsPeter
