I am thinking of reinstalling Radar Contact, I remember reading somewhere that the DWC setting of ASA/ASE was not compatable with RC. Can anyone comfirm this and should I use FSUIPC wind smoothing instead.Glen

I am thinking of reinstalling Radar Contact, I remember reading somewhere that the DWC setting of ASA/ASE was not compatable with RC. Can anyone comfirm this and should I use FSUIPC wind smoothing instead.

Unless something has changed with ASE then it will not work with RC as it sets the weather EVERYWHERE to what it at your aircraft, so any destination Wx reports from RC are insanely far off. When I did try it EGLC was reporting temperature of -44, and winds of 70+ knots .. .. ..G
