March 6, 201016 yr I never blaimed the kid for that however the ignorance of the flight crew and their lack of understanding of the flight controls was a little difficult for me to maintain empathy for.Sorry I was talking about this kid Orlaam posted above. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aeroflot_Flight_593 Regards,Gary Andersen HAF932 Advanced, ASUS Z690-P D4, i5-12600k @4.9,NH-C14S, 2x8GB DDR4 3600, RM850x PSU,Sata DVD, Samsung 860 EVO 1TB storage, W10-Pro on Intel 750 AIC 800GB PCI-Express,MSI RTX3070 LHR 8GB, AW2720HF, VS238, Card Reader, SMT750 UPS.
March 7, 201016 yr So within 2 days we have a kid running the JFK tower and now a guy with no license flying 737s... nice.I don't think it was for two days. Anyways though I heard the tapes and it wasn't like anyone at JFK were in danger. The child was supervised and all pilots the child ineteracted with seen nothing wrong with what was going on. His father was a VETERAN ATC controller as well as pilot. Not to mention he was approved by the supervisors. Also for a kid he did DAMN well. :) I personally do not think there is no wrong doing nor comparison the the dutch guy. If that dude had of been in the US they would have threw him under the bus, jail, and whatever else. That dude was a veteran PC pilot with a private license. However if he got away with it that long he might as well be given a license. He can now say with truth that he was a previous 737 pilot...under false pretense. :) James Holland Jr. PMDG-747,748,MD-11,J41,737,1900D/C,NGX 600/700/800/900w/Winglets ASUS Maximus Extreme-Z Windows 7 64Bit Intel Sandy Bridge 2600K 4.2Ghz 8GB Corsiar 2000mhz DDR3 Dominator Ram Cosiar 750 Watt Corsair H100-Water Cooler EVGA 460 GTS Samsung 22" 120 Hz 3D monitor 2233RZ FS9 & FSX
