MD-11 and Saitek Pro Flight Multi Panel

Featured Replies

Hello all,I've been having issues with Flight Sim X appcrashing on me at various points in flights with the PMDG MD-11. It happens when I am tuning inputs in my USB attached Saitek Pro Flight Multi Panel Autopilot. Specifically, when I enter a new altitude or airspeed into the dial on the controller, FSX Freezes and cannot recover. I have already noticed that I frequently see conflicting information on the controller compared to what is displayed in the FSX cockpit. For instance, my IAS on the USB controller will say 123 and in the sim plane, it reads 236. As far as FSX is concerned, the planes gauges are ALWAYS right. In Addition, I've noticed that the MD-11 altitude 'step' works in 500 ft' increments, whereas the Pro Flight Panel works in 100 ft steps. There's clearly some type of communication error between the panel, FSX and the MD-11. I was wondering is there a workaround or fix for this issue. Unfortunately, the Pro Panels have no user input settings at all, and no SDK that I've found, making it hard to edit for someone like me.Any help is greatly appreciated,Jay

Did you not just post part of this here?In that thread I linked you something you should read, or chances are this thread will be deleted, thanks!

As with previous Saitek controllers, their drivers and related software makes a mess of things. Have you tried programming it through FSUIPC?
