March 8, 201016 yr After I had a conflict with ASE and a addon I want to try using ASE on a client computer. So I uninstalled ASE on the server and installed it on a client.Server: Windows 7 64, FS9 + FSUIPC and WideFS.Client: Windows XP 32, ASE, WideClient.I start FS9 on the server and WideClient on the client, with status connected. Then I run ASE on the client. I have set the correct FS9 folder from the AppData when started ASE. FS9 main folder and FS9 under AppData is shared with full permissions. But nothing happens to my FS9 weather. I have followed the instructions in the manual, but might have missed something.Thor Thor

I got all the ASE notifications it just appeared nothing was happening...-Paul Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk

March 8, 201016 yr I do not get the text on top of the screen in FS.Cloud settings:ThorOK, so if you do not get any text that is a different problem entirely... And the info you posted above was the full log?Can you browse from your client machine to you appdata\FS9 directory, open the ASvxxx.dat and just hit save... I want to double check it is not a permissions issue.Paul Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
March 8, 201016 yr Author Thats the full log, nothing more happens. And I can edit files in the appdata\FS9 folder from the client. So I have full permission from the client. I have also turned off Windows firewall on both computers. Is there a specific order to open programs? I open WideClient, then FS9 and check connection OK, then ASE. Have also tried WideClient, ASE then FS9. No luck.. And I'm getting tired of FS real world weather.:( Thor Thor

March 12, 201016 yr Author Hi,ASE was running for about 3 minutes and you never had FS9 running. I need about a ten minute log with FS9 running on the server.FS9 was running on server. This was just a short retry to create a fresh log. It was not any different from the other times where it had been running for a longer time.I have attached a longer log. This time I had installed Xgauge. FS9 was running on the server and FSclient was connected. Xgauge did recieve data from ASE, but still no weather change in FS..Thor Thor
