For some reason, I am suddenly getting a "splashdown" sound instead of the land "touchdown" sound...I have no idea what happened, but it is rather distracting! Any ideas would be appreciated...Thanks,Steve in kansas

Set your weather on "rain" then everything will be fine.

Getting serious, have you installed any sound addons? You can play all of your touchdown sounds in the FSX sound folder for a start.
