Historical Weather

Featured Replies

On the Historical weather tab under online dynamic data you have the option to select GMT or LOCAL time to apply. If you select local it uses GMT time for the incorrect hour. For example I selected in local time of 06:00 and hit apply. On the main screen switching between local and gmt it showed local pc at 0:00 and gmt at 06:00 instead of local at 6:00 and gmt at 12:00.It seems to work correctly when using GMT on the historical tab but seems the button for local does not work right as it still is thinking your using GMT instead of local. This is a minor bug I suppose but easier to go local and let it convert to GMT for you.If I'm incorrect in this let me know what I might be doing wrong. Thanks,Sean Green

Hi Sean,Yes, minor bug, so thanks for the report.

I encountered yet another problem: When I select a certain date/time to download historical data (offline static data), the row sticks to current GMT time - no matter if I change it to date and time I want! :( Any suggestion?Thank you!

Hi,Are you using the pull down arrow on the very right of the Time line to change the time?

Of course, I do - how else can I select the time? That's the problem, actually - when I change the time (a writing pen symbol appears at the beginning of the row) and press Download button, ASE automatically sets time back to current Zulu time and starts download.Thank you!

Hi,I tried and eveything worked out OK. By chance you are not trying to download a "future" time file are you?I chose 4-4-2010 and 4Z and that is what was downloaded and processed.

Jim, thank you very much!It works indeed as you mentioned the problem was with my attempt to download current or almost future data :)Thanks again!
