  1. What controllers are you using? If your using thrustmaster boeing yoke you need to remove the assignments for freelook. MSFS assigns one of the hat switches as freelook.
  2. If you have Orbx Vector uncheck exclusions I think in the scenery library. I'm not sure of the exact vector entry because I use UTX without any issue.
  3. Next update we will be able to steal cars and rob banks in the Orbx scenery.
  4. Turn VSYNC on in the display settings.
  5. ORBX SCA is most likely the culprit. I don't own the product but ORBX NA Landclass does just fine for SCA without the fps and VAS hit.
  6. No it will usually show up after an approach is selected and you are within range of the ILS. You are out of range possibly. You can always insert the frequency manually into the NAV Radio page of the CDU.
  7. This is a bargain after buying the Aerowinx PSX for $350.
  8. I will say the Aerosoft CRJ will be out before FSLabs.
  9. If you bought the 970 video card you could possibly be getting $30 for the memory issue. We have been informed about a class action lawsuit settlement with NVIDIA regarding the GTX 970 graphics card. Newegg is currently awaiting details about the settlement claims process (instructions, website). Once we have this important information, we will send you a follow-up email with the specifics on how you can submit your claim. If you have any questions regarding the information provided in this email, please don't hesitate to contact Newegg Customer Service through one of the convenient contact methods provided here. Sincerely, Your Newegg Customer Support Team Sorry if this is the wrong forum to post feel free to move.
  10. Yes. I used the exact flightplan you posted. The STAR does not directly lead you to a IAF to intercept the approach. It ends at HILLZZ at 6000. From there you will need to self vector yourself to the active landing runway if you do not have ATC. In PSX the ATIS stated runway 13R was the active so from HILLZZ I flew a downwind heading of 315 about 10 miles abeam of the rwy. Abeam the IAF I turned base then turned 100 to intercept the ILS. Performed a LAND3 due to being at work with no controllers to use for PSX. Unlike Europe approaches which lead you directly to the approach US approaches usually require some form of vectors to aquire the ILS.
  11. I just finished flying this route to see the issues you encounter. I did not fly in P3D or PMDG but with the Aerowinx 747 simulator. I loaded 270 tons with around 75 tons fuel. It was able to achieve FL320 leaving about 15 nm until TOD. Approach with landing on 13R went without any issues. The aircraft handled all altitude and speed restrictions without the use of speedbrakes. I did have some minor use of speedbrakes when slowing to 240 kts below 10000 but afterwards speed stayed in check. Approaching the FAF I was at 170 with gear down and flaps going to 20. Just keep practicing and reading and watching. You will learn something each time you fly the route. Good luck.
  12. No. Neither is needed to be done. This is not intended to anyone particular but: If you don't like the price then don't buy it. If you don't like the look then don't buy it. Problem solved. All the complaining is not going to change the product price or look.
  13. Considering what I paid for PMDG in P3D this is a bargain! And that was basically a portover with nothing new added compared to the FSX version.
  14. Unfortunately no. According to the marketing blurb on the hifi website: ASCA Integration for Real-Time Texture Dynamics AS16 works with any texture/graphics add-ons (including default graphics), but when combined with ASCA, real-time texture dynamics and automatic wx-influenced selections are enabled
  15. For those wondering there is a 7 day trial period before buying to answer those questions. I plan on taking advantage of that after work. You cannot try ASCA but you can at least test drive the wx generator. Like Uninstaller stated I will also be using mine with the Aerowinx 747 which arrives Monday so I'm looking at the performance above all.

I'm trying to find what I'm doing wrong on the go around procedure. I've been simulating this for about 4 hours and it always bust the go around altitude by 500-1000 feet. I'm practicing at KLAX rwy 25R. Missed approach altitude is 2000 feet. My procedure is as follows: Hit TOGA Flaps 20 Positive rate of climb Gear Up verify MA altitude set 400 feet verify LNAV At 1500 feet acceleration altitude the aircraft firewalls the throttles to achieve flaps up speed which bust the MA Altitude. I'm not hitting the TOGA button a second time for full throttle so I'm not understanding what I'm doing wrong. I've read the FCTM and tried to follow but at Acc Alt if firewalls the throttles. It goes back out of full once at flaps up speed. Thanks in advance if you can help me out.
  17. I couldn't help but laugh. I really wish the developer the best as I'm sure its hard work as a one man team but maybe he should hire some help so it would be twice a year updates. I've been waiting over 3 years for a proper functioning ATC program but have to wait for once a year "Fall" updates? I'm sorry can't help but laugh. I have no choice but I sure hope its perfect this time or we will be waiting until Fall of 2017 for the next bugfix. I've only been waiting since April of 2013 for all the bugs to be fixed. Everybody puts down RC4 but you must admit it does work every time and that was a one man operation also.
  18. He is referring to Pro Flight Emulator 3 by Oncourse software not ProATCX.
  19. Thank you Mike for your help. I do not use AI Traffic or any canned chatter at all so I don't think that would be the issue. Thank You.
  20. With all the compliments about the program I tried it again with the update. Simple flight KIAH - KABQ BNDTO5 CRGER LOWGO J15 CME LZZRD3 at FL320 Clearance, Taxi, Departure OK. On climbout cleared from 11000 to FL250. Then just past FL180 told to decend back to 13000 then back down to 12000. Never told to climb to crz altitude to 32000. I checked the forum and it says issue is fixed in next update. Oh well. Gave it a shot check back when the next fix is out.
  21. I agree with Bob that soon it will be subscription based. Until another OS comes out unfortunately we are stuck with Windows whether free or a yearly cost; there is no other option unless LM or DTG start supporting Mac or Linux. We can try to hold onto 7 for as long as possible but eventually in the next few years we all need to move on as hardware manufactures are already making the move to Windows 10.
  22. I purchased Windows 10 first of this year after building my system (No upgrade option available). Personally I've had no issues or complaints with the OS but YMMV. If I were still using my older system I would have also stuck with Windows 7 as many others have. If I were you I'd stick with what works and that your happy with. Windows 10 will have another big update on August 2 so things may go completely sideways or upwards. I can only hope for the best as its the only OS i have to use.
  23. I would disable all entries in your dll and exe files. If it works ok then start to add one module at a time. To me the error looks like an addon causing the issue.
  24. http://www.simforums.com/forums/admin-prepar3d-v3-patches-for-usa-and-europe_topic53705.html Not sure if this is your issue but download the patches to see V3 of P3D.
