At the risk of becoming too repetitive, I look forward to the progress in UT2, which appears to be once again in development. I would be willing to pay a premium for a product that is easier on resources (my experience) and more configurable; provided it had updated scedules, accurate paints, flew over water and had a 787 I wonder if there are so few folks in this business cause maybe it ain't too easy balancing performance and realism; not to mention schedule maintenance. Perhaps this and the fact that unlike creating user aircraft and scenery; it is relatively easy to go to flyingcarpet and AIG and create an airline. Ergo, competition from potential customers. I for one don't relish the prospect of recreating the world's AI traffic. I do salute those that do so.

You are right Dave. But what about websites like flyingcarpet75? They are great folks...yes, but they have just about every model and paint ever created available for download. What about Alpha India? They have schedules for every major airline and they give you links to download the models and paints. What if someone came along and said "here is a package of schedules, models and paints that will fill your airports and skies". And then what if they went on to acknowledge each schedule, model and paint creator? Essentially they would just be doing the work. If that is not OK, then basically we're saying "hey, use it all you like. But if someone else does the work (and gives it to you for free), they and I, are pirates". I've never been to one of the sites. If they sold advertising on their site and didn't get approval from the content creators, then I could see the conflict. By the way, I'm not challenging you. It is what it is. Whay don't the model, schedule and paint guys just charge a royalty for their product and let someone create a decent AI addon. Now I may have answered my own question (UT2). By the way, speaking of UT2, it appears it is once again being developed (from their forum). This would render my post moot as I would then have my first choice in AI up to date and I could completely disregard the model and paint wars. Cheers from a fellow Canuk.

Jim, Here you go: http://ultimatetraffic.flight1.net/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=14389&title=2016-schedule-data-now-released

Hi Jim I sent a PM to the administrator at the Ultimate Traffic forum asking him if he would post here or allow himself to be quoted. When I hear back, I'll post the info.

I visited the Ultimate Traffic forum recently and read that the program was once again under development. I hope it is as UT2 is IMO, the best. I am not trolling or creating rumours; nor am I being critical of its competitors. The post came from one of the forum administrators. Cheers

I use UT2 and ProATC/X. I will look at Pilot2ATC in the future.

Mark, How is the SimObjects.cfg module? That was my concern with the freeware. Couldn't deactivate certain folders.

If you take the time to look at all its capabilities, you may see things differently. However, if you always use the same settings:scenery, etc for all your flights, you may not need it.

Michael, Did you delete the Prepar3D folder in My Documents before installing 3.2? I had an issue similar to yours. Prepar3D didn't like the default flight, and would not load.

If you don't want to see the 10 update, hide it. Unlike Windows 10 Home, updates cannot be forced on Vista, 7 or 10 Pro. Can we move on from the general Microsoft bashing? If MS was as sinister as is sometimes suggested, they would have gone the way of the Edsel long ago.

I agree that Virtual CDU is the best option for the CDU. Only issue is you must pay for each aircraft. That may not be a deal breaker, but something to consider.

Thanks Michael. I'll give that a try.

Michael, How is your scenery layered? If you use UTX roads and Open LC, is LC above UTX? Also, if you are only using UTX roads, is all the other vector data default? Just curious. I have UTX and open LC. Want to get the best mix. Thanks
