Shutting down EZCA!

Featured Replies

A little help, please, from anyone. When I go to shut down my computer in the evening, it displays that EZCA is still running! It then asks if I want to "force a shutdown". I then say yes to that and all is well. I can find no evidence of that program running and I'm puzzled why the program stays open. Sure...I used it that day when flying, but I assume that when I shut down FSX, my REX shuts down, and then I manually shut downs Active Sky Evolution (stays on my taskbar until I do), but there is no icon or shut down tool for EZCA. Do any of you have this same problem, and what is the answer to it?Stan

Hi Stan,I suggest that you'll uninstall EZCA, clean the Registry with CCleaner in safe mode and install back the software.I've never had this problem using Win7 x64 as well.Hope it helps.

Thanks for the tip. I will reinstall EZCA...however, my computer works so well that I'm really hesitant to mess with the Registry in any way.Stan

Yes. I happen to know that Flight1 recently released an update and I know where the support forum is located.Do you suggest that I shouldn't share that information because I don't own the product?

Hi ! EZCA not use registry! No need clean registry if you have problem with EZCA .EZCA start with FSX only. If you start PC , EZCA should not stay in task manager. But in 1.12 version we have some problems with detection fsx.exe process and EZCA may be stay in task manager after closed FSX.in v1.13 we fix this problem.

EZdok software.
