March 13, 201016 yr All-I just got back into playing FSX and when adding an airline with multiple textures, I noticed that only 1 texture is appearing in the aircraft selection window. The aircraft.cfg file looks to be setup properly. Am I missing something???Thanks in advance.
March 13, 201016 yr Do you have a thumbnail.jpg for each texture folder?JohnNo, I didn't think one was needed. If a thumbnail isn't present, I seem to recall that it displays a sample template with the aircraft type being read from the aircraft.cfg file. Is this not the case now?

Is this not the case now?Right, I just wasn't sure whether you were missing the repainted aircraft or just its picture. Next step: make sure in the aircraft.cfg that the panel= and sound= are referenced to files that are actually available. If the panel= is not viable, the aircraft won't show up in the selection menu. Hope this helps.John

What's interesting is that texture.1 was added to the aircraft.cfg file and I properly changed the texture= and the various aircraft description lines so that the 2 textures wouldn't be repetitive and cause a problem. I'm not sure what else I could be missing.I blew the dust off of some old FSX payware packages that I bought that came with multiple textures and the same results appeared - there were multiple texture folders, the aircraft.cfg file was amended properly but only 1 version shows up when I go to select an aircraft...Not sure what I am missing...

Can you post a copy of the aircraft cfg. file(s) in question?John
March 13, 201016 yr Where is this flag located? Thanks. It's at the very bottom of the aircraft seletion menu page. I think Opa nailed the problem.John
