March 14, 201016 yr Hi everyone, I was wondering what would be the proper time to have the Center Main landing gear retracted when then mains were down?? I looked in the manual but i couldn't find anything (unless I missed it). Did find how to retract it or keep it retracted..but not when you would or not. One would have to think it has to do with weights?? Any help would be great thanksCaptPaul
March 14, 201016 yr http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showtopic=245586The weights are definitely a factor. It is not raised when you are on the ground except by maintenance. You can inhibit the center main from lowering in flight and it is in the manual. Dan Downs KCRP

March 20, 201016 yr Systems manual pg LAND.10.4 discusses the CTR GEAR NORM/UP switch. This is the contol you are looking for. Dan Downs KCRP
