Featured Replies

I've downloaded some flight plans on world of ai and the 2.4 world of ai installer then when I click install in the installer it goes it says error. Why is this and is there anyway I could get free traffic on fs2004?

it says Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

WOAI has a very good support forum - I'll bet they can get you up and running. You will need to "register" (it's free and easy) in order to access the forum.http://www.world-of-ai.com/Forum/index.php

No, I ment sometimes files don't get downloaded correctly. And you have to unzip the files. In the end you get a file with an extension woai.enc I think, which you can install. Zip files can't get installed.

FYI - I have never unzipped the files first - the installer has always done the complete job for me.Still think the OP would get good help from the guys at the WOAI forum.

Apparently with Vista and Win 7, if you have your FS installed under "Program files" rather than in a location "outside" of Program files (as many now recommend) being logged in as "adminstrator" is not enough. You apparently need to Right click on the shortcut which starts FS or any FS related utility and set it to run as adminstrator also.I don't have either OS (still with XP) but that is what I am reading.

That's correct. When running the installer in Vista or Win 7 and the folder where the installer resides is placed on the same drive as the operating system e.g. Program files (Vista, Win 7) you will have to be logged in with administrator rights. When you place the folder where the installer resides in outside of the OS partition or drive this isn't a problem.

Kind Regards,
