Very cool!!!Thanks Sky_6!

Hello:Looks very "cool" (...in more wyas than 1 ), but I'm confused as to what this is about.Regarding the "discussion thread on testing Ed Truthan/Bill Womack Snow Effects" posted also at:http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showtopic=279468...Is there a link to the SIRP scenery with this "new" innovation by Bill Womack somewhere that we can get at it (no link is showing) ?A Google search for "Bill Womack's excellent ground tiles:" initially only turned up this:http://mistyair.net/forums/showthread.php?t=1359Then, after a bit more Googling, I found these links:http://forums.fsaddon.eu/viewtopic.php?t=2...ht=pete+chapmanhttp://mistyair.net/forums/downloads.php?d...;sort=downloadsIIUC, the file we might wish to try out in FSX is "IcefieldsX" at: http://mistyair.net/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=74File Name: IcefieldsX (38.42 MB) DownloadAuthor: Pete Chapman (Uploaded by Pete C)Date Added: 09-14-2009Downloads: 58Grade: Not Rated Description"This add-on is basically the same package as that which I produced for FSX default scenery, but due to the fact that the original was not compatible with TongassX, I have made a 'quick fix' modification to make the original compatible with TongassX.Unfortunately, I was unable to modify Porcupine Camp or Tracy Perch Camp sufficiently and they have therefore been removed completely. The others should be useable, although you might find one or two anomolies"FYI: Apparently registration is required to download at that website. Thanks for sharing... and those are VERY COOL screenies BTW ! That snow looks 1000x better than the default snow. Me want!

Gary this one is different, as Peter couldnt get Poprcupine to work- Ed could...(sorry for the bad description)This one isn't released yet... ...it supposeed to be part of that SIRP scenery camp...Porcupine wasnt compatable...so this is where we're at!Although this is the only one with the new 'Goodies'....its the snow effects in the new one...we're not concerned withthe scenery in this discussion, just the snow...The IcefieldsX is good tho...The picture posted are about the new snow effects (notice the runway snow/taxi marks/ prop wash blowing effects/ ground poly shadows) and is NOT available yetas we're testing the poly's....Here is the thread we're testing the ground poly's : http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showtopic=279468
