Volume Level of ATC

Featured Replies

Hi All;I know I saw a question about the low level of the ATC in FS2K4 but for the life of me I can't find it now. Has anyone figured out how to increase the volume? I have set mine at 100% and all the others I have set to 10% and I still can hardly hear ATC. The volume on my PC is maxed out both within the PC and the speakers. If I increase the volume on the speakers any higher I get a feedback hum.I had no problem with FS2K2 so it has to be something in FS2K4.Any ideas?:-hmmmmaxsdadhttp://jdtllc.com/images/RCsupporter.jpg

Maybe if someone took all the wave files concerned and openned them and compressed/amplified the lot with appropriate EQ filtering.... I have Cubase here at home and may entertain the idea, but there must be hundreds.AllenAs long as engines and environment are low compared to 100% ATC Im getting by.

Do you happen to have a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz sound card? I have one and had the same problem (and more) and found that I just needed to update the driver. You can get updated drivers at http://www.turtlebeach.com/site/kb_ftp/585ftp.asp. The file name is sc_4193.exe.Hope this helps.Jon

Jon;Yes I have a Turtle Beach and I saw the thread about them. I downloaded and installed the drivers you note and I still have the same problem. I am going to try changing speakers to my old(last computer) ones and see if they give me more volume. Thanks for the response.maxsdadhttp://jdtllc.com/images/RCsupporter.jpg

I removed my Harmon Kardons and replaced them with my old Labtecs and now I have all the volume I need with plenty left over. Sometimes inexpensive equipment works better then expensive. Now I'm happy. maxsdadhttp://jdtllc.com/images/RCsupporter.jpg
