ASE, FSX and FSUIPC4 visibility options

Featured Replies

Finally took the plunge and bought FSUIPC 4 registered version for FSX having used it in fs9 and prior for many years. Finally worked out how to get the vis options to appear in the FSUIPC menu by changing the relevant setting in the .ini file. However, the vsibility settings have no effect on FSX weather with ASE running or even without it (tried the vis graduation and the max surface layer vis settings and neither work).Am i missing something on getting FSUIPC, FSX and Simconnect to talke together? Are there any problems with UAC/running priority of the various applications?Have made sure I hvae checked the boxes in FSUIPC to allow it to "change FS own weather"Any ideas

Hi, it would be great is osmeone could explain this subject as I am also intersted in it - since I do not use DWC in ASE now :)

According to the designer of FSUIPC, the program is unable to alter the visibility options within FSX and that's why it was left out of the FSX product be default.
