April 6, 201016 yr OK!That's enough now!I am trying to change my attitude and you don't have to keep bringing it up, I have started to get my screenshots a little better and I decided to listen to some of the users, so stop critising me now as I think I am changing my attitudethanks planenutter :(
April 6, 201016 yr The paint looks nice. ( as far as we can see it.) I have started to get my screenshots a little better you wrote. The screenshot is far to small to have a serious look at the quality of the paint. Please give us a screenshot of at least 1200 pix wide, with the plane filling the screen just the way as this little shot does. This has been asked several times before , you said you`re going to improve the screens. We are still waiting.Leen
April 6, 201016 yr What Leen means is quite simple and was mentioned in your last post about the Flybe paint .Try making a screenshot when using the flight sim and use the " Print screen " button . The advantage of this is your screen resolution is also the size of your picture - instaed of having to look at a letterbox shaped postage stamp .Open your paint programme ( not FS Repaint ) and paste into the paint programme . This image can then be saved as jpg and posted here . Not exactly rocket science is it ?John
April 8, 201016 yr OK Planenutter, this makes sense.Showing me a plane this way ,its possible for me to get a real good impression. This paint looks fairly nice, there are however some details wich need attention. There is a text missing at the rear-doors.The wave in the tail is not steep enough and should almost reach to the back of the fuselage.Registration (GK) on the front-wheel-hatches is missing.Logo/text on engines is missing. The main comment I have is the dual-line over the fuselage, alltough its position is OK the shape of the line is a bit messy.Making these lines with the line-tool is quiet hard and problematic. To make nice flush lines you need to use the "pen-tool".Google "pen tool" and you`ll find explanations about this tool.RegardsLeen de Jager
April 8, 201016 yr Well I think Leen has covered the issues you need to address .I will say , looking at photos of this repaint , your positioning of the logos and the dual lines is good !! So it seems to me that you take the time to look closely at the photos of the repaint you are doing .Now if you can follow the advice that is (and has been) offered as closely then you will be on your way to creating some respectable repaints.I will be honest and say that as the repaint stands at the moment , If I had downloaded it and installed it , well in its current state I would be deleting it .BUT!! If you take the advice that Leen has given and make those adjustments , then I am sure this would turn out to be a repaint that I would keep. You know , having someone from Mcphat do QC on your work is something you really should be taking advantage of!!
