April 14, 201016 yr *******, I been fooling around with your "tweak" and have had great sucess, until now. I have this problem (see pics) and they WILL not go away no matter what I do. I've changed everything back to the way it was before I screwed around with your tweaks. Now, it's obviously a problem with either my GPU or my Monitor.....I'm sure its my GPU...which is only 4 or so months old and I've NEVER had a problem until now. Please help, maybe someone else has had this problem? I have tried everthing and it only happens when I start up FSX, but after I close FSX the problem stays. I do not have a heat problem or anything like that. What I dont understand is that I have been using your tweak since the day it was posted and NEVER had a problem and it has done wonder to my FSX but now I'm not too sure if I should be mad or what, any help would be greatly appreciated

April 14, 201016 yr Hey sorry I screwed up the image upload (never done it before). I have an i7 920 (3.4) and a 260 GTX 6 DD3 Ram and win7. I dont want to lower my autogen, I get like 89 FPS why do I need to lower stuff? Jordan, I don't see any images attached! however, if the 'artifacts' you are refering to are 'snow like dots' then lower autogen, you are stressing the card over the limit.. what is your setup?
April 14, 201016 yr I get like 89 FPS why do I need to lower stuff?*IF* you use the BP=0 tweak, you are shifting some of the load to your GPU (video card). This is, OF COURSE a very good thing.. however, this 'shift' does not come for free, meaning that 'high' AG settings will make the card work 'harder' and 'eventually make the sim crash. So, to 'avoid' crashes/artifacts you need to sacrifice some eye candy. If you don't want to sacrifice eye candy, then, don't use the BP=0 tweak OR get a Fermi (GTX 480) video card, but you can't have it all!A detailed explanation of this is posted in the main FSX forum, its a pinned topic called 'BP=0 Conclusions'. My personal recommendation (if you really like to run with everything maxed out) is to get a card capable of keeping up with your CPU demand, that card is the nVidia GTX 480. the GTX 285 (even overclocked) is simply not enough for BP=0 when the sliders are all maxed out.Cheers,
April 14, 201016 yr Ok well i lowered them a little. I use the GTX 260 896 mb card so what should my setting be?
April 14, 201016 yr Ok well i lowered them a little. I use the GTX 260 896 mb card so what should my setting be?start with 'normal' and try some scenery with heavy autogen, if you still have problems, try sparse! also, do not go over 'dense' with the scenery complexity.

April 14, 201016 yr What should my BP setting be?Jordan,I have a similar system, and my settings from memory using Bufferpools=0 are:nHancer -setup per NickN's instructionsENB Bloom - using NickN's .ini fileFSX - Augoten/Scenery Complexity = Normal- AI Cars = 12, Other two = 30, Airtraffic = 0 (I fly on Vatsim anyway)- Water 2x Low- All other sliders right except Mesh complexity I think is at 10mUltimateTerrain- Turn off the street lights/car lightsHope this helps. All that said, if you're happy with your current frames and IQ then don't change anything. Just fly and enjoy. Jeff Hepburn

April 15, 201016 yr How could my GPU be overloaded when I'm getting seriously like 89 FPS over Tamworth (ORBX FTX)?If you are getting '89' FPS means you are evidently *NOT* locking your FPS, correct? rule #1 for BP=0 success. 'lock your framerate'second, you getting '89' FPS, means your 'CPU' is 'capable' of pumping 'UP TO' 89 FPS, but, the GPU will have to render EACH FRAME.. thats 89 frames, EACH second, and EACH frame contains instructions to load 'scenery, autogen, textures' I'm telling you 'exactly' what has been written in the pinned BP=0 Conclusions thread at the top of the FSX forum. Please, re-read the document, its easier to apply the tweaks if you fully grasp the concepts covered in the document. and I wrote it, with that purpose in mind, so other could understand, tweak and experiment.
