Auto Tower v2 is ready

I see that the Auto Tower v2 is ready for downloading, BUT I'm not really sure just what this program does. I hardly, if ever put my Fs2004 into the "tower view" so I don't think that I would have a purpose for this program. Isn't it only for viewing FS2004 in the "tower view"? Does this program have any other purpose?I once had a "tower" program that lets you "sit" at the end of a runway and watch the aircraft land and takeoff. Anyone remember the name of this program and its link? jerrycwo4

I use Autower religiously and wouldn't fly without. It forces the tower view into the view from the nearest tower whether you're in the air or on the ground. Addons like FSHotSFX change the tower view to a different angle, but Autower 2.0 forces it back within seconds. Highly recommended if you like to see your aircraft or AI from the correct tower position.

Hi,Instead of a "Tower view", I find a "Fly by" more interesting, especially when you want to create "dramatic effects" in movies. Thanks to a topic on flightsim, I found this file "flybyrt.zip" which replaces the "tower" view and I am happy with it.Hugo

No, it wasn't ActiveCamera. I tried that on my latset Fs2004 computer and for some reason it didn't work with the other addons that I had so I've never used ActiveCamera. I'll try that flyby file. Thanks jerrycwo4
