NOT ABLE TO DOWNLOAD FROM LIBRARY

I do not have download problem anywhere else. I downloaded quite a few other files from other places with NO PROBLEM.I am logged in. From page 1 of AVSIM, I click on an item displayed there. I click on DOWNLOAD. I get PAGE 2 then I get this: Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage What you can try: It appears you are connected to the Internet, but you might want to try to reconnect to the Internet. Retype the address. Go back to the previous page. Most likely causes:

Switch over to Firefox as an experiment. Try to download using it. If it works, you know you have an issue with IE8; most likely in the permission settings you have. Give it a try and give us a report back.

Thanks Tom,First attempt using FIREFOX 3.6, got this response:"Unable to connect Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at library.avsim.net. * The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments. * If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection. * If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.TRY AGAIN2ND ATTEMPT:I had FIREWALL .....ON. Turning it OFF, solved it. Except for AVSIM, I did not have any problems before. I am happy it is working, Tom.I am still PUZZLED that this happened so suddenly. Would appreciate any additional thoughts.Thanks again, Tom.Abe
