August 4, 200322 yr I noticed that if your Landing Gear did not show up in your AI Flights in FS2002 that the Landing Gear will not show up on your User A/C in FS2004. (Okay, honestly, how many of you out there were flying around without Landing Gear?)
August 4, 200322 yr I am not sure what you mean. Strangely enough I have been having landing gear problems with the default B737, in that the gear is not coming down when on approach. Sometimes it does sometimes it doesnt. And just for the records I am using the correct IAS at the timeUsing only default in FS2004 with no addons. Is this what you meant?ThanksBill
August 4, 200322 yr No, some aircraft when used as AI Aircraft in FS2002 would not show Landing Gear, they would float above the ground. Those same aircraft will have the same characteristics when used as a user aircraft in FS2004.
August 4, 200322 yr ok thanks. Thats not what is happening to me :-)But yes I remember that in 2002Bill
August 4, 200322 yr I think it's the old FSDS vs. GMAX/FSDS2 thingy again. All seems to vary though. My (or rather Mikko Maliniemi's) FSDS Hawks work perfectly in FS2004 (well done, that man, they were designed for FS2000!) and yet Jan Visser's FS2000 DC-3s lose their props.Hey Bill (for it is you, right?), no landing gear, no props ... just like the old days, eh?Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/newlogo.jpg _________________________ Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont VP Fleet, DC-3 Airways Team Member, MAAM-SIM
August 4, 200322 yr In the case of some of the older aircraft, the problem seems to be that old animation tags (or naming conventions) carried over to FS2002 no longer work in FS2004. No clue on the default 737. :-)Milton
August 4, 200322 yr Author I have noticed the"no gear" problem in only 1 FS2002 aircraft. That was the sabb340 from FFG Freeware. The gear is there and you can land and T.O.....You just can't see it. Who has time to watch the gear when your Landing or T.O. anyway....LMAO!
