April 26, 201016 yr As I understand it, FSX uses 8xAF when setting it in-game.Can you force 16xAF in fsx.cfg? (The AF quality is could be better when forcing it with the driver I think (5870))
April 26, 201016 yr As I understand it FSX uses 8xAF when setting it in-game.8xAF Really? I know its ugly but Isnt it like 2X or 4x? but I think there is a guide that shows how to force AA in FSX but I dont think you can choose Super Sample or even what kind.Edit: Oops sorry, you mean Ansio - Duh! I dont know if you can change that.
April 26, 201016 yr Commercial Member I'm nearly positive FSX does use 16X when the in-game dropdown is set to Anisotropic. It has performance optimizations applied to it though which is why it doesn't look quite as good in some situations as forced 16X with the "high quality" filtering option on in the driver. April 27, 201016 yr I would be surprised if FSX automatically sets AF to 16x. That is very high as a standard setting.
