How to stop loading weather at startup.

Featured Replies

Greetings,I have the option "Automatic Downloads" deselected in the Options menu. However, when ASE loads it still sets the weather in FS9. I don't want ASE to set any weather unitl I tell it to. Is this possible?Thanks,-Matt

MattSo why not start you sim, set everything up as you want and then start ASE?

That's actaully a good point Gavin. Thanks. But I'd still like to be able to control when ASE sends the weather to FS9. Is that possible?

MattSorry, I missed your point. To be honest, I don't know if you can do that. I generally only use FS9 with ASE on because I want the weather. If I didn't, I just wouldn't put ASE on - eg when I'm just testing to see if some addon has installed correctly.

Another good point. My setup is networked, so I guess I could just not start WideClient until I'm ready. I'll have to test that and report back.
